The ambition of our client communities and events portfolio is to build bespoke networks for our target audience groups which provide our members with opportunities to upskill, connect and be inspired. Our networks are typically local and focused on current and potential clients and alumni across BCG’s practice areas, while our partnership activity is focused on a mix of collaborations with high-profile local organisations, and more intimate activations with industry bodies, opinion shapers and think tanks.

As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator, your role will be to leverage your deep understanding of the local market to organize and deliver the Dutch programme of events and partnerships activity, reporting into the London-Amsterdam-Brussels (LAB) Marketing & Communications Manager who is responsible for this portfolio. You will also collaborate with the broader LAB Marketing & Communications team to source content, speakers and identify opportunities to enhance the impact of the programmes you run. We also expect the ideal candidate to be strong role model, and have a strong executing customer-service mindset when partnering with our managing partners and directors on projects.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Being a strong 21C to the portfolio lead and play and active role in project management and owning the delivery of key components; mainly driving events for our target audience groups
  • Applying the full breath of events expertise (live/virtual/hybrid) to deliver a great experience - from concept design and planning to delivery and reporting, this includes driving end-to-end events: venue sourcing, events logistics, branding, stakeholder management, shaping events content, navigating internal compliance processes and campaign management: working with CRM and data processing
  • Establishing goals for network development, tracking, and reporting on performance
  • Taking the latest global and local business/society topics and trends and applying them to develop concepts and topics that will engage an audience, including creating strong written communications to members and guests
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving, working with the global marketing function to pilot new approaches and ideas for LAB
  • Independently liaising with (senior) stakeholders to influence and gain their support to deliver on our objectives across key communities and partnerships
  • Clearing articulating activation plans (one-off and annual), objectives and key milestones, and knowing how and when to use internal channels to get things done. Ability to drive a project independently
  • Creating and executing a content plan for bespoke closed LinkedIn groups, developed as part of some programme offerings

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 2-3 years' experience in marketing/communications coordinator role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Engage, Marketo, Adobe Photoshop, LinkedIn (ads)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English
  • Experience working in a fast and multi-layered (global) organization is advantageous
  • A proactive and energetic approach to projects and a genuine love of problem-solving is a must.
