Specialist Fulfillment Center Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Ensure a correct visibility of product incoming to the DC and prioritization of the product, to ensure product is delivered On Time and In Full according to customer orders and specifications, within agreed timelines and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support medium- and long-term strategic direction for the FCP Operations team and work with team member to execute strategy/initiatives
  • Manage the flow of goods at destination (in transit to receipt), focused on specific European DCs
  • Partner with Inbound Transportation and DC receiving to address capacity constraints for strong inbound flow.
  • Define and communicate optimal intake plan, balancing cost and availability.
  • Support regular meetings with EDC Operations and share availability projections, outlooks on inbound performance, priorities, and expectations.
  • Secure cross-functional collaboration with partner functions and inform market stakeholders on supply or transportation issues impacting availability or cost related to EDCs under your responsibility.
  • Contribute to develop appropriate reports & tools to support and measure achievement of team objectives.
  • Contribute in cross-functional projects, representing FCP.
Key Relationships:
  • Europe SCM Functions (Product Supply, Orderbook Management, Distribution Planning, Customer Fulfillment, Deployment)
  • DC Operations, Finance, Customer fulfillment, Global Logistics, Inbound Planning
  • Omnichannel Operations functions (Retail and eCommerce)
  • SCM Visibility & Performance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Good knowledge of supply chain mechanics and flow of goods from sourcing to customer
  • Operational and project management skills
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Analytical and process thinking, strong analytical skills
  • Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • College or university degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus in supply chain management
  • Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in a Supply Chain Management function
  • Strong skills in ERP (SAP)/WMS systems
  • Competent user in Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
