HR Officer

In this role you are part of a small, energetic team of 4 colleagues. You are responsible for an accurate personnel administration and payroll changes and therefore work closely with both the Recruiter, HR Consultant and the Head of HR, to whom you report. You are the first point of contact for employees with general questions (HRIS, declarations, leave balances, sick leave and pension and insurance etc.). You manage the administration and ensure the correct application of HR policies and will have plenty of room to think about the further professionalization of HR administration and processes. Since Armada holds office in New York and London as well, you also provide support to these offices.

What will you be doing?

• You manage the HR inbox and handle general questions from employees;
• You are responsible for absenteeism registration and monitor the relevant deadlines;
• You manage the leave administration, changes and (re)calculations;
• You carry out the personnel administration and take care of the input of monthly changes for the salary run;
• You organize all necessary administration regarding inflow, throughflow and outflow, and inform IT and facility;
• You create monthly reports (from HR2day) for management information;
• You support the practical implementation of various HR correspondence regarding policy matters;
• You support colleagues from Amsterdam, London and New York offices with various questions;
• You contribute to ideas and the implementation of optimizing HR administration and processes (including digitizing the administration).

What do you need to bring?

• You’ve acquired a relevant (Bachelor’s) degree (MBO/HBO);
• You have experience with HRM Software (HR2day is a plus), ATS (Recruitee is a plus) and Microsoft Office;
• You have 1-3 years of experience in HR administration;
• You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• You are able to prioritize, work across multiple tasks and projects, and communicate on all levels;
• You are able to apply creativity to critical thinking;
• You possess great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
• You exercise discretion whilst handling sensitive and confidential information;
• You are highly proficient in spoken and written English and Dutch.

A certificate of conduct (VOG) is required for the position and a reference check is also part of the application procedure.
