Join ANWB Energie, a rapidly growing corporate scale-up, as a Compliance & Regulations Officer. Lead the further development and implementation of our compliance program, staying on top of changes in relevant legislation and market standards. Represent us externally with agencies and stakeholders, and combine internal knowledge and soft skills to ensure implementation in policies and processes. This role offers a lot of freedom, as there's still much to be organized in a unique context alongside several international partners.
Your role is also highly responsible as the guardian of compliance and integrity, for a new company that's already in the spotlight, especially as part of an organization with a 140-year-old carefully nurtured reputation and iconic brand.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Compliance & Regulations becomes and remains a standard part of the organization's thinking and actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding compliance and relevant laws, regulations, and market standards.
- Develop and further the compliance framework and policy, providing advice and practical perspectives for the organization.
- Ensure the execution of the compliance policy by periodically testing compliance measures' implementation and reporting progress and risks.
- Lead the implementation of measures or necessary adjustments in consultation with the management team.
- Participate as a knowledge authority in projects and the implementation of new services.
- Stay informed on (upcoming) laws and market standards and advise the organization accordingly.
- Represent ANWB Energie as the largest dynamic energy supplier in external meetings with stakeholders and maintain our contacts with regulators, legislators, within sector platforms, etc.
- Maintain strong connections with the corporate Compliance and Risk Manager of our parent company.
What We Offer
- Gross monthly salary between €4,183 and €8,000 (based on a 38-hour week) and a year-end bonus of 5.58%

Qualifications
- Completed HBO or WO education, preferably in Dutch law
- At least three years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of legislation and market standards in the energy sector and a network within the sector
- Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring a compliance framework for an organization
- Able to identify attention points and risks, determine their importance and urgency, and inform/convince colleagues effectively
- Enjoy working in a scale-up where action takes precedence and not everything is set in stone
