At IXA-GO, the knowledge transfer and grants office of VU Amsterdam, we support researchers to create impact with their research. Our team identifies funding opportunities, supports researchers to build a strong proposal and if relevant introduces them to the right network and consortia. If an innovation requires it, we also offer support in IP protection and provide guidance on the various valorisation routes and opportunities.
For our team, which is based at the dynamic VU Campus, we are looking for a Grant Advisor.

As a Grant Advisor you are the first point of contact for researchers, especially regarding personal grants and consortium grants. You contribute to increasing the chances of success in acquiring (inter)national research grants. You will be part of the IXA-GO team consisting of among others Grant Advisors, Policy Advisors, Business Developers, IP specialists, and Project Managers. Our goal is to support researchers from acquiring external funding for their research up to translating the results of the research to the market and society.

IXA-GO offers you a challenging position within a professional and motivated team for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of an extension.
On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €4,332 and a maximum of € 5.929 (scale 11), depending on your qualifications and experience. The job profile is based on the university ranking system (UFO) of Knowledge Valorisation Officer (3) and is open for at least 0,8 fte.

At VU IXA-GO we support researchers at the VU in the process of acquiring external funding for their research, protecting and utilising the results of the research, up to the launch of a successful spin-off company. With our expertise, open mindedness, enterprising spirit and multidisciplinary approach, we work on developing sustainable solutions that impact society. Our growing team consists of Grants Officers, Business & Impact Developers, Programme/Project Managers PPP, and a Marketing & Communication team.
