Hunkemöller is looking for a HR Advisor (maternity cover for Sept ‘24– Jan ‘25) for our international HQ based in Hilversum (NL)

Within this role, you’ll look after all our passionate HQ employees based in Hilversum from all corporate functions. You’ll be the sparring partner for all HQ managers to contribute to our mission of creating & continuously improving as a great & inclusive place to work for people from over 42 nationalities.

Together with an HR Assistant, you’ll manage not only the yearly HR year cycle for our HQ employees, but also ensure all operations, absenteeism and development matters are managed. Apart from that, we offer a unique opportunity as you will play a key role in managing the HR aspects of the move of our HQ to the new locations in Hilversum and Almere.

Creating an even better HR focus and be a 100% respected HR business partner:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance throughout our HQ and in multiple departments.
  • Whilst you trust your HR Assistant with 1st line matters, you have your focus on the 2nd line requests.
  • For all legal matters you’ll bring your solid labor law experience to manage the day-to-day and work closely with our Legal Counsel more complex matters.
  • Participating in HR projects and initiatives such as yearly performance review or talent management.
  • Coordinate all HR aspects during the move of our HQ to the new locations;
  • Being eager to constantly revise our processes to improve in efficiency, but also advising our employees in best ways of working within our global HR system, Workday.
  • Work closely with the local HR team of the Netherlands (of which you’ll be part of), but also have exposure to the Global HR team.
  • Cooperate with our Employability Advisor on increasing wellbeing initiatives for our HQ people.
  • Update and/or prepare ad-hoc reports, update policies and legislation changes.

The Perfect candidate needs to be a Hunkemöller brand ambassador and fan who…

  • Has completed a tertiary education, ideally HR related
  • Has 4+ years’ experience as a HR Advisor / HR Business Partner
  • Has excellent English language skills
  • Is a strong communicator with the ability to be business sensitive
  • Preferably has experience in retail, hospitality or other service industry
  • Has the ability to deal with deadlines, targets and multiple priorities
  • Having worked in a fast-paced, international environment would equip you to be ready for this exciting challenge.
