PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execution

  • Executes regional and country level marketing/channel plans for CAG products/solutions in alignment with global marketing strategy
  • Defines sales tools requirements for respective/product solutions for hand-off to Content & Communications team
  • Development of all customer programs, promotions and tools for respective products/solutions to meet regional or country needs of both independent and corporate customers (in partnership with Integrated Marketing Manager and Programs office) and drives engagement/utilization in field with customers and commercial teams
  • Pilots programs and commercial positioning in the field with customers for new and on-market products
  • Requests/provides input on customer communications, sales collateral, and training content to meet local needs in partnership with Communications & Content team, supporting the development & execution of training when applicable
  • Reviews and prepares tailored marketing material and other customer facing documents to enhance sales by potential product users, for use as sales collateral by the field sales teams, distributor partners and by veterinarians (eg. Client Brochures)
  • Ensures all IDEXX customer facing materials are relevant to their markets, up to date, of a high quality, and are easily accessible to those who need them
  • Obtain and analyze competitive feedback to support local marketing efforts
  • Support the management of local strategic partnerships for respective products/services (i.e. DSRs and KOLs)
  • Effectively executes and implements new product launch (and relaunch) plans
  • Educates potential users on the key benefits of IDEXX products, ultimately resulting in incremental growth in sales of IDEXX products
  • Coordinates the IDEXX Technical Marketing Programmes to ensure market relevance and acceptance
  • Ensure all marketing and technical material is in line with corporate and local statutory requirements

Planning

  • Promote business by execute effective plans (IRL 50%, IHD+RA 50%)
  • Supports the execution of the rolling strategic plan
  • Execute social media advertisements & schedules to create IDEXX brand awareness
  • Execute innovative promotions and educational events to promote IDEXX and IDEXX products
  • Instrumental in developing quarterly call plans in conjunction with sales management

Review, monitoring and analysis

  • Monitors and regularly reports on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns & initiatives
  • Regularly reviews IDEXX pricing to ensure prices meet revenue targets and customer perceptions of value, whilst maximising revenue & gross margin opportunities
  • Actively reviews competitor products and marketing activities to ensure IDEXX remains informed and proactive in the marketplace
  • Regular participation in Commercial Execution meetings

Financial / Reporting

  • Submit marketing activity and Return on Investment reports to the CAG Marketing Management Group for Business Review monthly
  • Effectively supports and manages projects and the overall CAG marketing effort within budget based on forecasted revenue. Justification of variance to budget is required throughout the year
  • Execution of administration duties including processing accounts, expenses, and reporting
  • Provide accurate forecast requirements by Stock Keeping Units for all relevant products in consultation with the sales managers.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree or equivalent preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Fluent in English and local language
  • Independence
  • Flexibility to work in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts required
  • Proficient in the use of CRM databases and marketing automation techniques
  • Veterinary industry knowledge beneficial
  • Action Selling or equivalent selling skills training beneficial
