  As an intern in the Business Control team at The Social Hub, you will be pivotal in creating Financial reports, facilitating the integration of systems, and implementing innovative tools. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial insights, streamlined operations, and enhanced decision-making capabilities within the organization. This role presents an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in financial and technological analysis within the context of the dynamic and fast-paced hospitality sector. you will be part of the Finance department at the headquarters of The Social Hub in Amsterdam – The Support Hub.

What you’ll do    

  • Integrate CPM (Tagetik) with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to enhance reporting and analysis processes
  • Creation and maintenance of Financial Reports.
  • Participate on the integration and automation of all finance systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to support the automation of uploading non-financial and external data
  • Verify the alignment of data across systems and reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support and train other departments when needed.

Who you are   

  • You are currently studying at a Dutch university and living in the Netherlands pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology or a related field. 
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Including Index-Match, V-lookup’s, etc.
  • Understanding of database management and SQL; familiarity with VBA or Python is a plus.
  • Analytical master mind capable of breaking down complex problems and identifying patterns 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. 
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in learning new technologies, tools, and processes related to financial systems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). 
  • Available for an internship of minimum 6 months starting in September 2024.
