As a Barclays Vendor Service Manager, you will be accountable for the operational service provided, as agreed in the services agreement section of the Intra-group Agreement. You will also lead and manage the operational relationship with recipient service manager and escalate any issues as appropriate. This is an opportunity to be assisting the Service Recipient in discharging its obligation to govern the service, with transparent MI to the recipient.

Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?

Delivering service in line with contractual SLAs per service appendices while ensuring the service appendices accurately reflect the service provided

Managing relationships with recipients and escalate any issues as appropriate

Working with key business stakeholders to provide a holistic view of service journeys

Leading and managing change governance across Service Catalogue, Enterprise Process Taxonomy, Finance, ORAC, IMH and resilience hierarchies

Providing accurate and granular MI in the service portal, which has been validated and consistent across Finance and Business

Working with Finance colleagues to deliver end-to-end cost of the service

What we’re looking for:

Detailed knowledge and experience of Procurement

Good planning and organisational skills when managing priorities across a range of projects and campaigns to ensure timely delivery

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Proven stakeholder management expertise, including influencing senior stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role

Understanding of Change principles and evidence of application

Ability to influence and present with credibility at senior management level

Where will you be working?
