Field Service Engineer / Application Specialist

Nordson Industrial Coating Systems, a leading provider of integrated control systems for industrial processes, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team in Germany, Benelux or West of Czech Republic as a Field Service Engineer / Application Specialist (m/f/d). You are a technical expert with customer acumen, and you are looking for a high level of independency? Then we are looking for your application! As a member of our team, you will provide technical support and technical service for our customers in Germany and Benelux. You ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with Nordson equipment, service, and application expertise, provide trainings to customer’s engineers, maintenance and operators. Furthermore, you drive the sales of standard equipment and components in cooperation with Nordson Key Account Managers. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Support and service Nordson ICS-installed base within a given territory. Ensures high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and efficient service. Develop and strengthen customer relationships at different levels through personal contact. Self-starter focused on efficiency. Pays close attention to planning visits and travel routes in most efficient manner. All planning through Nordson CRM system. Performs audits of Nordson equipment, help customers with settings and final tunning of application, provide recommended spare part list. Conducts training schools for customer personnel. Maintains customer visit records inclusive of advised actions, tasks, next steps, etc. Promptly responds in emergency situations. Participates in the startup and commissioning of new systems. Install and commission new standard equipment. Prepare and execute lab tests. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualification and Experience Electrician (university degree, apprenticeship, technician or similar) Has mechanical, pneumatics, electrical (basic PLC / Industrial Controls) and electronic knowledge and skills to perform needed service and instruct others on maintaining Nordson equipment. Experience in Spray equipment is an advantage. Customer oriented Team player for a multinational engineering team Language Skills in English and German on daily basis Willingness to travel 80% (independent schedule, typically 1–4-day trips predominantly within Germany and Benelux) Valid driver’s license Equipment Company Car, Laptop, Cell phone Interested?
