At Viterra, we make things happen and as our Application Support Specialist, you are providing functional 2nd line support for business applications. You implement changes requested by the business without disruption and with a high service level. You will focus on incident-, problem-, test- and change management and you act as a safeguard for all ITIL processes. You might be involved in some project related work as well. You safeguard the overall process and the SLA for incidents and service requests. You maintain relationships with vendors to create support that will benefit when doing application incidents, changes, and projects. Therefore you have an open and can-do attitude.

  • Responsible to implement the changes in our IT landscape;
  • Safeguard the overall process and the SLA for incidents and service requests;
  • Maintaining and creating test plans related to projects or changes;
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to create support that will benefit when doing application incidents, changes, and projects;
  • Responsible for maintaining a healthy IT landscape;
  • Responsible for change implementation following our Change Management process.

Who are we looking for?

  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience working in the Application management environment;
  • A Bachelor's degree (HBO) in the area of Information Technology is preferred;
  • Broad general knowledge of IT and understanding of business processes;
  • Experience in a global, cross-cultural enterprise environment;
  • Experience with vendor management and supporting operational activities;
  • Experience in development should have basic knowledge of programming languages;
  • Eager to learn new technologies and skills;
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a pre;
  • ITIL certification is a must, preferably ITIL V4.
