At Karl Lagerfeld, you will support the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans Product Merchandising department in day-to-day activities within a dynamic, international, and fast-growing fashion company.

Job summary

Provide support in day-to-day tasks within the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans Product Merchandising department.

Key responsibilities

  • Weekly market feedback and analysis of sales performance, including sell-in and sell-out
  • Competitor benchmarking and trend research
  • Support with range planning and pricing strategy of the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans collection
  • Maintaining the seasonal product calendar
  • Analyse historical data and prepare in-sales reports, including best sellers and efficiency
  • Communicate style information to the rest of the company
  • Set up sales tools and line books with product development
  • Support preparation of presentations for the division based on merchandising and product
  • Assist with lookbook photoshoots
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Main relationships

  • Design, Production, Product Development, Retail, and Wholesale teams

Skills, education & experience

  • Fashion, retail, or business-related studies
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • International experience
  • An eye for detail and consistency
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially XLS and PPT

Profile

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Flexible, adaptable, and positive with a can-do attitude
  • Has an eye for detail and consistency
  • Insight into the merchandising function
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Up to date with the latest trends and design
  • Available for a minimum of 6 months
