As a DTC Merchandising Rookie

The DTC Merchandising Rookie (Direct-to-consumer) will support the Amsterdam-based DTC Merchandising team in strengthening Under Armour’s digital and physical consumer experience. This role plays a key part in premiumizing the DTC channel by supporting assortment execution, seasonal storytelling, and merchandising initiatives that bring the brand to life through online and owned & operated stores. Through a combination of day-to-day operational support and a strategic project, the Rookie will gain end-to-end exposure to how a global performance brand plans, merchandises, and executes its DTC business.

Your Impact

Strategic Project: Premiumizing the DTC Channel

  • Support a strategic project focused on elevating the DTC consumer experience through optimized merchandising, storytelling, and category presentation
  • Analyze current DTC merchandising performance and identify opportunities to enhance navigation, product visibility, and premium feel
  • Partner cross-functionally with Retail, Digital, Marketing, and Planning to support aligned execution

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support seasonal DTC assortment setup across key product categories
  • Assist with on site and in store merchandising execution including product launches, key stories, navigation updates, and brand moments
  • Perform basic performance analysis (sell-through, product visibility, category performance) to inform merchandising decisions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of merchandising updates

Qualifications

Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Business, Fashion, Retail, Marketing, or related field) for the full duration of the Rookie Program
  • Strong interest in DTC, e-commerce, merchandising, and consumer experience

Skills & Attributes

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with data and digital tools; Excel skills are a plus
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sport, athletics, and brand storytelling
