Help millions of fans discover events through search and grow TicketSwap’s global organic reach.

Job description

At TicketSwap, we bring fans and experiences together on our marketplace, helping people go to more events they love while supporting organisers in building lasting success. With over 19 million users worldwide, we’re growing fast and reaching fans across more markets every day.

Search plays a key role in how fans find events and tickets. As an SEO Intern, you’ll help shape how TicketSwap shows up across search experiences - from traditional search engines to emerging AI-driven discovery - and directly impact our global organic growth. Ready to learn fast and make your work visible to millions?

What You’ll Do

You’ll join our Performance Marketing team and work on real SEO challenges that drive traffic, visibility, and growth. From keyword research to technical improvements, your work will help fans discover events more easily.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Support the execution of SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
  • Contribute to AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives, helping TicketSwap surface in AI-driven and conversational search environments
  • Run keyword research and identify new growth opportunities across markets
  • Optimise on-page content including landing pages, event pages, and blog content
  • Assist with SEO audits and help fix technical and content-related issues
  • Analyse performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms
  • Spot trends in search behaviour and translate them into actionable ideas
  • Collaborate closely with product, content, and broader performance marketing teams
  • Work cross-functionally with the Affiliates channel, supporting SEO-driven partnership opportunities and contributing to its growth as part of the SEO scope
  • Help improve site structure, internal linking, and overall search visibility
  • Contribute to content ideas that are both user-friendly and search-optimised
  • Stay up to date with SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends
  • Bring your ideas to the table and test what works

About You

You don’t need to know everything yet. Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn matter most.

  • Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, or content marketing
  • Interest in how search is evolving (including AI-driven and answer-based experiences)
  • Curious about how search engines work and how content ranks
  • Comfortable working with data and eager to learn how to turn insights into action
  • Detail-oriented and able to spot opportunities others might miss
  • Proactive and not afraid to ask questions or share ideas
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Spanish, German or Dutch are nice to have
  • Interest in music, events, or live entertainment is a plus

Why You’ll Love It Here

You’ll work in a team where ideas matter more than hierarchy and where you’re trusted to take ownership early. Your work will have a real impact, helping millions of fans discover events they love. We move fast, learn constantly, and support each other along the way.
