The current vacancy is in the Directorate for Societal Resilience and Security, specifically within the Space, Connectivity and Economic Security Unit. The unit’s mission is to foster EU’s resilience and economic security by enhancing the resilience of strategic space-based and terrestrial connectivity infrastructures, services and underlying critical technologies.
The JRC has been selected as the final hosting entity of the test facility for the European Quantum Communications Infrastructure (EuroQCI). We propose a position for a Quantum Communications Engineer within the team establishing the test and evaluation facility for the terrestrial segment of the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure.
