Join our global digital marketing team and play a key role in building the technology and automation foundation that powers our marketing performance worldwide. We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Global MarTech Manager to own and evolve our global MarTech ecosystem while shaping the marketing automation capabilities that enable scalable lifecycle marketing across our brands and markets.

In this role, you will ensure that our marketing tools, integrations, tracking frameworks and automation platforms work together as one coherent and scalable system. You will operate at the intersection of marketing, data and technology, enabling our digital teams to make data-driven decisions based on reliable tracking, attribution and well-structured automation journeys.

The role has a global scope, supporting marketing teams across markets including the USA, UK, DACH region, the Netherlands, Spain, UAE, Japan, Belgium and France, and will be based in our Amsterdam office.

If you enjoy designing systems, building scalable automation frameworks and bringing structure to complex marketing environments while enabling teams to perform through better technology and data, we would love to hear from you.

What will you do?

As the Global MarTech Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic ownership and development of our global MarTech ecosystem. Your focus will be on ensuring that our marketing technology stack supports scalable and data-driven marketing across our brands and regions. This includes defining and governing tracking and attribution frameworks across the full marketing funnel, shaping the architecture of our marketing automation environment, and ensuring the integration of our marketing tools with systems such as CRM platforms, analytics environments and other core systems.

You will work closely with global digital marketing teams, IT and external partners, collaborating with regional marketing teams across multiple international markets to ensure that marketing systems are reliable, data flows are consistent, and marketing performance can be measured and optimised with confidence.

At the same time, you ensure that our MarTech ecosystem supports the commercial goals of the business — from lead generation and candidate engagement to placements and measurable business impact.

Other responsibilities could include:

  • MarTech Strategy & Architecture: Define and drive the global MarTech roadmap, ensuring our technology ecosystem supports scalable and data-driven marketing and aligns with business and IT strategy.
  • Tracking & Attribution Governance: Define and govern tracking and measurement across the full marketing funnel, ensuring consistent definitions and reliable attribution across paid, owned and earned channels. Work closely with internal specialists and external partners to implement and maintain tracking standards across platforms.
  • Marketing Automation Architecture: Own the technical structure and governance of the marketing automation platform, enabling scalable lifecycle marketing and reliable integrations with website and CRM systems.
  • System Integrations & Data Flows: Ensure stable integrations between marketing platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools and external partners, creating reliable data flows across the ecosystem.
  • MarTech Stack Governance: Maintain oversight of the full MarTech stack, evaluating new tools and preventing fragmentation or duplication across markets.
  • Collaboration with IT: Act as the main link between Global Digital Marketing and IT, translating marketing needs into sustainable technical solutions.
  • Data Integrity & Measurement Consistency: Ensure consistency and trust in marketing performance data across systems, dashboards and reporting environments.
  • Agency & Partner Management: Work with external Digital Marketing partners and agencies to ensure implementations align with global standards and roadmap priorities.
  • Innovation & Technology Development: Monitor developments in MarTech, AI-driven marketing tools and evolving attribution models, translating these into opportunities for improvement.

Your talents

Just as SThree and all our brands, you are driven, energetic and get things done. You are an analytical and structured professional who enjoys solving complex challenges at the intersection of marketing, data and technology.

Next to this we are looking for:

  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in MarTech, marketing automation, digital analytics or technical marketing roles, preferably in an international environment. Experience within the recruitment or staffing industry is a strong advantage.
  • MarTech & Automation Expertise: Strong understanding of MarTech ecosystems and marketing automation platforms, and how these enable scalable lifecycle marketing, lead generation and measurable commercial impact.
  • Tracking & Attribution Knowledge: Experience with tracking frameworks, attribution models and measurement across the marketing funnel, ensuring reliable and consistent performance data.
  • Commercial Mindset: Strong understanding of how marketing contributes to commercial outcomes. Able to connect marketing technology, automation and measurement to business impact such as lead generation, conversion and placements.
  • Systems & Integration Thinking: Ability to understand how marketing tools, CRM platforms, analytics environments and other systems integrate and exchange data.
  • Bridging Marketing and Technology: Able to translate technical possibilities into practical solutions that work for both global and regional marketing teams, ensuring MarTech solutions remain usable, scalable and not overly IT-driven.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with APIs, system integrations and data flows across marketing platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to collaborate effectively with marketing teams, IT stakeholders, external agencies and senior leadership.
  • Innovation Mindset: Interest in emerging technologies such as AI-driven marketing tools, CDPs and evolving attribution models.
  • Communication Skills: Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business, Information Systems or a related field.

What do we have to offer?

  • Opportunities to develop your talents and grow your career within a global organisation
  • Excellent benefits, such as 25 vacation days, a laptop, mobile phone and a good pension scheme
  • Hybrid working: combining working from the office with working from home
  • A vibrant work environment with great colleagues
  • Amazing social drinks and spectacular events
  • Five paid volunteer days
  • Is it your birthday? Time to celebrate! You’ll get the day off.
