As Manager Marketing & Sales Operations, you help marketing and sales work smarter, more efficiently and with greater impact. Your focus is not on generating leads, but on making sure the right people, processes and tools are in place to support the full client journey, from first contact to long-term relationship.

What you will do as Manager Marketing & Sales Operations

You play a key role in transforming our current Marketing Enablement team into a mature, future-proof Marketing & Sales Operations function. This means making commercial performance measurable, and ensuring our marketing and sales technology supports the way the business operates.

By managing and continuously improving our marketing and sales tech stack, you help create clarity, structure and insight, enabling better decisions and contributing directly to commercial success. Your responsibilities:

Building a strong Marketing & Sales Operations function

  • Lead the transition from Marketing Enablement to a well-defined Marketing & Sales Operations function, with a clear vision, priorities and ways of working.
  • Make sure people, processes and tools work together to support commercial goals and the end-to-end client journey, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance.

Commercial funnel, performance & insight

  • Improve how our commercial funnel works by making it more transparent and measurable.
  • Define and track clear KPIs around funnel performance, conversion, adoption of tools and operational efficiency.
  • Use data and insights to show what works, what doesn’t, and where we need to improve.
  • Demonstrate impact on pipeline velocity, client engagement and return on investment.

Marketing & sales technology

  • Act as functional owner for our commercial tech stack, including Dynamics 365.
  • Ensure tools and platforms are reliable, well-integrated and used by marketing and sales teams.
  • Safeguard data quality, governance and compliance across CRM and related systems.
  • Explore how AI and automation can improve processes, insights and adoption of tools.

Collaboration & enablement

  • Work closely with marketing teams in the business, commercial leadership and IT to align priorities and deliver improvements.
  • Act as the link between business needs and technical solutions, translating questions and challenges into practical processes and tools.
  • Identify bottlenecks in marketing and sales processes and put scalable improvements in place.
  • Support marketing and sales teams with the right tools, training and guidance to run effective, client-focused campaigns.

Where you will work

At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology.

As our new Manager Marketing & Sales Operations you will be part of the Corporate Group Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) and report to the Corporate Director Brand, Marketing & Communications. You work closely with business line marketing teams, commercial leadership, IT and other stakeholders across the organisation.

Because you will work closely with the Corporate Group BMC, you will be based either in the Netherlands or the UK. If you are located in the UK, we ask you to travel to the Netherlands once a month to stay closely connected with the team.

What you bring

Experience & profile

  • Experience leading a Marketing Operations, Sales Operations or similar team in a complex, international B2B environment.
  • Strong experience with change and transformation, including adoption of new processes and platforms, with a strong focus on AI.
  • Solid knowledge of CRM and marketing & sales technology, ideally Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
  • Experience with campaign enablement, lead management and/or sales enablement.
  • Comfortable working at the intersection of marketing, sales, IT and leadership.
  • Thinks strategically, but enjoyes getting things done.
  • Is commercially minded and focused on creating real value.
