Assistant Manager Post Order Operations - Temp until 31st July 2027

For adidas, eCommerce is a key strategic priority with an ambitious annual sales goal and the overall objective to build a further successful pillar of our commercial business model along Retail and Wholesale. Consumer is at the heart of everything we do. Operational excellence in Fulfillment, consumer experience with returns are the key topics in Digital operations function and integral part of eCom strategy. This position is responsible to ensure that the end to end return of physical parcel flow is complete and correct data and order transfer between the systems is running as expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Drive the day-to-day operational activities related to Fulfillment by closely monitoring the E2E returns performance, across the Distribution Centres and the carriers.
  • Initiate the right actions to ensure that the return services are meeting SLAs and escalate to management where required by providing fact and figures. This includes tracking return speed, return backlogs, email communication, ensuring that all return-related processes adhere to agreed timelines and commitments.
  • Support day-to-day issue resolution for existing capabilities and features with operations and product teams, by identifying, logging, and tracking issues that impact the customer and return experience
  • Validate data across systems and tools to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of information displayed. Ensure that all return-related metrics are correctly recorded and represented in the system, minimizing discrepancies across platforms.

As part of the daily operations

  • Ontime follow-up on process deviation with an effective resolution action and time
  • Continius effective and efficent monitoring of performance
  • On-time escalation of critical execution with high business impact, including the right level of detail to support driving solutions
  • Ensure data consistency across different systems

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills - able to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to various technical and business issues.
  • Strong MS office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently across departments with various levels of management
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners
  • A can-do attitude and still high attention to detail, self-initiated and pro-active mind-set

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree Supply Chain, Business, eCom, Digital Marketing or Economics. Master is a plus
  • Working experience in any other functions (+1 years)
  • Experience with SCM operations is a strong plus
