In our Health, Nutrition & Care business unit, the Global Planning Manager plays a vital role at the center of our global supply chain, bringing together Product Management, Global Commercial teams, and Regional Supply Chain Planning to drive seamless alignment between business demand and our supplier network. You will steer the Sales & Operations Planning process across all time horizons, ensuring sales, demand, and supply come together to enable strong performance and clear strategic direction. Working closely with stakeholders across PRQM, Industries, Sourcing, Regions, and Sites, you will guide portfolio health, inventory levels, slow movers, and restricted stock to balance customer centricity with OWC and inventory targets while supporting site EBIT.

This is a role designed for impact, offering the opportunity to shape how we work, elevate planning excellence, and influence the growth of our Health, Nutrition & Care business, whose mission is to improve lives through science‑based solutions that enable healthier living, enhanced nutrition, and advanced care.

Your key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by developing plans that align agreed sales, supply, and inventory requirements to support the short- and medium‑term sales ambitions of the business.
  • Ensure effective execution of the S&O planning process within APO (or other planning systems) at the global level, and influence regional teams to enable fully integrated supply chain planning.
  • Define inventory levels and stock policies in agreement with business management and regional Supply Chain teams.
  • Manage the allocation process when needed to support balanced and timely product distribution.
  • Lead or support Planning Meetings such as recurring Global and Regional STR meetings; collaborate in TOR review meetings and handshake meetings with strategic suppliers; and lead alignment meetings with M&T sites monthly or more frequently as required. When assets are shared, lead planning in collaboration with other planners.
  • Manage alignment of strategies, projects, and innovation or new business development activities, ensuring Supply Chain and Planning policies are implemented effectively to support efficient execution while adhering to CDI targets and OWC considerations.

You bring

  • Bachelor of Science or Diploma in supply chain management, business administration or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a planning function within the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or equivalent manufacturing industry.
  • Deep systems knowledge of SAP / IBP / APO systems.
