Senior React Developer

OWOW A.K.A. Omnipresent World of Wizkids is a digital agency that designs and develops web platforms and e-commerce products for ambitious brands. We work with a wide range of clients, from fast-growing scale-ups to established international companies.

At OWOW you will join a team of 30+ Wizkids across design, development, and strategy. Together we build high-quality digital products that are scalable, maintainable, and thoughtfully designed.

About your role

In this role as a Senior React Developer at OWOW you take end-to-end ownership of quality and collaboration within the projects you work on. You build modern React and Next.js applications, actively identify risks, and help the team make better technical decisions.

You are a strong React specialist who raises the level of others by sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and setting a clear example.

Experience with Shopify is a nice bonus, but not required.

Job requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to take ownership of quality beyond your own code.
• Comfortable identifying risks and addressing them proactively.
• Ability to coach other developers and transfer React knowledge.
• Able to explain and defend technical choices to team members and clients.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Based in the Netherlands (non negotioable) and willing to work from our Eindhoven office (hybrid work policy).
• Fluent in English or Dutch, spoken and written.
