And when we say ‘platform’, we mean it. Well over 52,000 external partners – and counting – enrich the product base. Data-driven, adventurous (making mistakes is no biggie, as long as learnings are shared), we intend to deliver on our promise to make life easier and more fun for customers. And that is exactly what our tech 900+ professionals do.

What you’ll do

As a Young Professional (Tech), you’ll join one of our autonomous teams as a software engineer. Each team is responsible for a specific aspect of our platform, where you’ll develop and improve applications (microservices) that have an immediate impact on customers and third-party sellers. The pace is fast, so your actions will have an immediate impact. After your first year, you’ll switch to a different team to maximize the learning experience. The program gives you a unique opportunity to build software using your own skills and creativity, working with modern tooling to solve real problems. You’ll collaborate with colleagues who share technological insights, ambitions, and challenges, driving change together. Mistakes are part of the process—as long as you learn from them. We love technology and we love our work, but we’re not infallible. In our world, we take risks, move fast and learn quickly. You build it, you run it, you love it.

A focus on personal development

The Young Professional Tech Program is designed to provide the best learning opportunities. You’ll work with your team for 4 days a week, and spend the remaining day (usually a Friday) on personal development. In addition to a mandatory personal development track, you can choose how to spend this 20% time—completing online trainings, collaborating on projects with other Young Professionals, or participating in community blocks to help the program grow. The possibilities are endless.

This program also offers a community of Young Professional peers to learn from and with each other, with various activities organized by the community. By joining this program, you have the potential to become a future tech leader. You’ll receive training on both hard skills relevant to your role and passion, as well as soft skills to unlock your potential.

No matter the space you’ll join, your tech stack may include:
