About the assignment

In this assignment, you will focus on improving the architecture of real-time applications and enhancing the interaction between them. Key areas of exploration include scalability, low-latency communication, data consistency, and fault tolerance in distributed systems. You are expected to propose innovative architectural improvements—such as implementing event-driven architectures, microservices, or real-time data streaming technologies—that boost performance and reliability. Additionally, examine how these applications interact by addressing interoperability, API design, and protocol optimization. All implementations should be developed using the Rust programming language to leverage its performance and safety features. Depending on your study and personal interests, the emphasis within the assignment can be adjusted.
