As Cluster Sales Manager Amsterdam, you are responsible for representing Minor Hotels within the Amsterdam market and further strengthening our commercial presence across the region. With a strong focus on managed B2B segments, including Business Groups, Meetings & Events, Corporate Transient, Leisure and Crew, you drive commercial success through a results-driven approach. You build and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities and contribute significantly to achieving sales objectives, booking goals and revenue targets across rooms and food & beverage. Working closely with the National and Global Sales Teams, you translate commercial strategies into action and strengthen the position of Minor Hotels in your market through a customer-centric approach and an extensive professional network.

Tasks & Responsibilities for driving Demand

  • Drive new business acquisition, support national and international customer relationships, and ensure coordinated account management in line with the rules of engagement.
  • Execute the sales strategy for the Minor Hotels within the market.
  • Monitor the performance of account portfolios and sales figures, taking appropriate actions where needed.
  • Maintain and develop RFPs in close collaboration with the National & International Sales Offices.
  • Initiate and deliver Minor Hotels client events.
  • Drive client retention for local and key accounts.
  • Actively participate in local networks.
  • Participate in the commercial meeting cycle and translate revenue analyses of the Minor Hotels within the market into effective sales activities

Tasks & Responsibilities for driving Conversion

  • Analyse the current market situation and competitor landscape.
  • Act as an extension of the Group Sales Office in converting pipeline MICE requests.
  • Support the conversion of large Group and MICE requests.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all commercial matters involving Hotel Directors, Revenue Management and event organisers.
  • Cross-sell the full Minor Hotels portfolio.
  • Participate in sales calls with members of the on-property and/or off-property sales teams to successfully close business opportunities.
  • Be present and visible for guests, clients and colleagues at key moments, including site inspections, commercial visits and events.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' sales experience within the hotel industry, preferably with a luxury brand or international hotel chain.
  • Experience with Lanyon, Hotelligence/TravelClick/Agency360, MiceView and TMS/SAP is an advantage.
  • Proactive, positive and creative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible attitude with a hands-on mentality.
  • Client- and results-oriented.
  • Stress resilient and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Possession of a valid driver's licence.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; an additional language is considered an advantage.
