About this role

As a People Technology Specialist, you will join the dynamic People Technology Development team. You will bring the values of lead, deliver, and care to life within the Foundations and Frameworks product area. In this role, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting core HR systems covering everything from Compensation and Job Frameworks to Organizational Design, helping to build the foundations that support a global workforce.

In this role, you will design, deliver, and maintain solutions across key platforms like Workday. By driving excellence and fostering teamwork, you will play a vital role in a customer-centric mission to optimize processes and elevate the employee experience.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Translate specific business requests into clear, actionable requirements that align with existing best practices.
• Build prototypes to assist in design discussions and support system demonstrations.
• Configure solutions, test fixes for bugs, and conduct necessary post-configuration aftercare.
• Provide ongoing operational support for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), prioritizing ticket resolution.
• Document system configurations accurately and create detailed, concise documentation in accordance with Information Technology (IT) controls.
• Conduct functional process analysis, perform issue triage, and utilize "As-Is"/"To-Be" modeling to understand system impacts.
• Manage assigned sprint work by accurately estimating story points and meeting commitments.

What will you bring to the team?

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) operations or technology, ideally with Workday or similar systems.
• A strong, foundational understanding of core HR processes.
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, resolve problems promptly, and enhance the employee experience.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive commitment to developing new skills and expanding system knowledge.
• A collaborative mindset with an enthusiasm for skill-sharing and supporting project team members.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision while effectively organizing your own tasks.
