You & your role

Shape the architectural direction of Rabobank’s Sovereign AI Platform and help teams innovate with confidence. In this role, you design a secure, resilient and scalable foundation for responsible artificial intelligence. You connect architecture, data, engineering, security and business needs, turning complex challenges into clear choices. Your work enables development teams across Rabobank to create trustworthy artificial intelligence solutions while meeting strict requirements for security, compliance, operational quality and sovereignty.

You work with specialists across architecture, data, engineering, security and business domains. You make architecture understandable and actionable, mentor colleagues and help multidisciplinary teams turn their knowledge into stronger platform capabilities.

The people in this tribe build the foundations that enable teams across Rabobank to develop artificial intelligence products responsibly, securely and at scale. Collaboration is how the team works, as 1 technically focused team within Rabobank. You work with talented colleagues across architecture, data, engineering, security and business domains.

You & your talent

• Experience designing and operating large-scale enterprise platforms with cloud-native and containerised architectures.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, platform design and architecture governance.
• Experience with data integration for structured and unstructured data and with agentic artificial intelligence frameworks, orchestration platforms, evaluation methods or artificial intelligence governance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues while creating clarity in complex situations.
• Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and effectively in English across different disciplines.
• Connect squads, departments and stakeholder groups while remaining true to architectural principles.
