You & your role

As Senior Business Analyst, you turn complex regulatory and data challenges into practical solutions. You connect stakeholders from the business, data management, compliance and engineering to deliver data products that support Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), Client Onboarding and Financial Crime Compliance processes across the organization. You ensure that requirements are clear, stakeholders stay aligned, teams can deliver high-quality solutions and ultimately contribute to the organizations’ digital and data transformation agenda.

You will work within a modern cloud-based data ecosystem and leverage technologies such as Azure, Databricks, APIs and Power BI. Based on this you enable the delivery of solutions that support data modernization, process automation, advance analytics and regulatory compliance.

The Area Data Capabilities is responsible for implementing the foundational IT data capabilities that support the W&R domain. As the central expertise hub for Client and Party Data, Document Management, Management Information, Data Access, Data Availability, Data Analytics, and Cognitive Capture, the Area ensures that W&R can rely on a robust and future-ready data landscape.

Examples from practice

  • Leading workshops that translate regulatory requirements into clear user stories and data requirements for delivery teams.
  • Improving data quality, data lineage, and reporting capabilities that support compliance and customer onboarding processes.
  • Guiding cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives while ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

Top 3 responsibilities

  1. Translate business, regulatory, and operational needs into sustainable data solutions by partnering closely with stakeholders across business, compliance, operations, and technology.
  2. Drive requirements management from idea through implementation, ensuring user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery goals are clear and actionable.
  3. Lead collaboration within agile teams by facilitating workshops, supporting testing, mentoring colleagues, and promoting continuous improvement.

You are a senior and therefore expected to be the trusted advisor, that takes ownership and is able to challenge others to find the best solution while driving collaboration and delivery.
