Do you feel passionate about ports, logistics, and maritime infrastructure? Do you care about how they support global trade and sustainable development? Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional pursuing a career in the port sector, or an experienced consultant with many years of experience? In every case, we would love to hear from you.

At Haskoning, a team of leading global maritime consultants works on challenging and impactful projects around the world. We support port authorities, terminal operators, investors, governments, and developers to plan, design, and develop the ports of the future.

Working alongside specialists from different disciplines, you will help develop solutions that address the technical, operational, environmental, commercial and social aspects of port development.

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting and delivering port and terminal master planning studies for international clients, including port authorities, terminal operators, investors and government agencies;
  • Contributing to the planning and design of port terminals and maritime infrastructure at different stages of development;
  • Assisting with or leading capacity assessments, operational analyses and terminal simulation studies;
  • Supporting initiatives related to the digitalisation and sustainability of ports and terminals;
  • Conducting technical due diligence studies and strategic assessments;
  • Preparing high-quality reports, presentations and workshops;
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the wider Haskoning organisation;
  • Contributing to proposals and commercial offers;
  • Building client relationships and supporting business growth activities;
  • Sharing knowledge and contributing to the continued development of our port planning capabilities.

As your experience grows, you will have increasing opportunities to take ownership of projects, mentor colleagues, develop client relationships and play a leading role in shaping the future of our services.

We support both public and private sector clients across ports, terminals, maritime infrastructure, offshore energy and coastal development.
