There is a way to keep critical renewable energy assets running safely, reliably and efficiently and as O&M Site Coördinator - Offshore Wind, you’ll help make that happen every day.

In this role, you’ll be part of our offshore operations team in IJmuiden, where you’ll connect site operations, engineering, planning, contractors, project teams and management. You’ll coordinate daily operational and maintenance activities, support well-informed decisions and help ensure that work is delivered safely, carefully and in line with business needs.

About Business Area Wind

We develop, build and operate our wind farms both onshore and offshore to accelerate the growth of sustainable energy. By combining international expertise with innovation, we create world-class projects and contribute every day to the energy transition.

In IJmuiden, you’ll work close to one of our major offshore wind assets. From the operational hub in the port, the site team monitors and supports the offshore wind farm, with access to office space, vessel operations and warehouse facilities for spare parts and operational support.

What will you do?

As O&M Site Coördinator - Offshore Wind, you help keep a major offshore wind asset operating reliably. You bring structure, operational insight and clear communication to both day-to-day execution and longer-term improvement activities.

You’ll work closely with technicians, specialists, contractors and colleagues across planning, logistics, procurement, engineering and site operations. Together, you’ll make sure operational work is prepared, coordinated, followed up and improved with care.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating maintenance activities, inspections, site campaigns and operational projects to support safe, compliant and efficient delivery while helping reduce downtime.
  • Following up on contractor, vendor and service partner performance, with attention to safety, quality, planning, documentation and operational readiness.
  • Connecting site operations, engineering, planning, logistics, procurement and external partners to improve reliability, availability and cost effectiveness.
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for escalated operational topics, including progress updates, risk communication, documentation and handovers between teams.
  • Contributing to budgeting, cost optimisation, procurement activities, performance reviews and improvement initiatives that strengthen safety, operational efficiency and long-term asset value.

Qualifications

Who are you?

You bring technical knowledge, operational experience and a communicative way of working. You enjoy creating overview in a dynamic environment and know how to connect people, priorities and practical next steps.

We’re looking for someone who can combine careful planning with a collaborative mindset. You don’t need to have followed a traditional career path — if you recognise yourself in many of the points below, we would like to hear from you.

You bring:

  • A degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience from an operational environment.
  • Several years of experience in operations, maintenance, project coordination, asset management or contractor management within an industrial, infrastructure, energy or offshore setting.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, workstreams and priorities in a changing operational environment.
  • Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to follow up on actions and remove obstacles to delivery.
  • A clear and inclusive communication style, with the ability to work well with technicians, specialists, contractors and senior stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with enterprise business systems such as SAP or comparable tools.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A valid driving licence and the ability to commute to the site location in IJmuiden.
