Solution Architect Shared Wallet – Growth Acceleration

In multidisciplinary teams, you will work together with proposition managers, journey experts, UX/UI designers, data analysts, developers, architects, business analysts and product owners. Rabobank is looking for a Solution Architect who is genuinely curious about working within Growth Acceleration on a new payment feature and is motivated to build deep, long-lasting understanding of the feature and the architecture and tech landscape.

You & your role

As a Solution Architect for Growth Acceleration 0-30, you play a crucial role in enhancing the digital experience and shaping the digital heart of Rabobank. To launch the new feature, you need to collaborate with multiple teams across Rabobank. This requires in-depth knowledge of the feature, the technical landscape, and close, high-paced architectural alignment with these teams to ensure delivery of a scalable, future-proof solution under significant time pressure.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Design and guide a clear, secure and scalable frontend and backend architecture for payment pockets and shared wallets, building on existing frontend and backend platforms and integrating with payments, cards and core banking systems.
• Align frontend and backend solutions to ensure reliable and frictionless end-to-end customer experiences.
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to steadily improve the platform, enabling future enhancements in payments and balances.

You & your talent

• Solid experience with Angular (TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience working in a monorepo (NX) and with shared frontend standards and guidelines.
• Familiar with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Cloud Foundry and AWS.
• Knowledge of secure and reliable application design.
• Knowledge of Kafka and messaging solutions.
• Knowledge of database architectures (relational, NoSQL, vector).
• Experience with designing high-performance architectures.
• Familiar with patterns like Backend For Frontend, Zero Trust/Secure by Design and Domain-Driven Design.
• Extensive network in the Rabobank IT organisation, especially on payments, cards and core banking (APF).
• Collaborative in designing the end-to-end chain in cooperation with other solution architects in other areas and tribes.
