Internal Communications and Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a brilliant storyteller to step into the shoes of our Internal Communications & Engagement Manager for a maternity cover. For the next few months, you will be the voice of TSH, keeping our global team connected, informed, and inspired. You will jump straight into the heart of our unique culture, transforming big business strategies into campaigns that people actually want to read. From running our digital platform to designing moments that bring our community together, you will keep our internal pulse vibrant and unified. This is your chance to lead a vital function, make a real impact, and work with a team that values fresh ideas. The assignment is for 6 months to cover maternity leave.

About The Social Hub

The Social Hub is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. What You’ll Do

• Drive our internal communications strategy, keeping our messaging clear, engaging, and completely on-brand.
• Run Staffbase, our internal social platform, making sure content stays fresh and accessible.
• Collaborate with leaders across the business to weave inspiring storytelling into everything we do.
• Produce high-energy company events, town halls, and leadership meetings.
• Launch fun employee engagement initiatives, from milestone celebrations to recognition programs.
• Design eye-catching content using tools like Canva and Figma to keep our updates visually compelling.
• Support sensitive communication and organizational updates that are connected to the future of TSH.
• Review communication data and insights to constantly improve how we connect.

What You’ll Have

• You bring 6+ years of experience in internal communications or employer branding, ideally within a multi-national setup.
• You have a proven track record of turning big-picture communication strategies into real action.
• You have experience managing digital communication platforms, and bonus points if you know Staffbase.
• You bring the confidence to partner with senior leaders and align messaging across different teams.
• You have a sharp eye for visual content and hands-on experience with tools like Canva and Figma.
• You write and speak fluent English, and knowing Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese is a great bonus.
• You are based in the Netherlands and are able to come to our office in Amsterdam for a few days per week.
