You and your job

• Understand the business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine appropriate solutions to drive the area’s targeted business outcomes.
• Manage and lead the architecture for the squads while working closely with the Area Leadership Team, the squads, and other stakeholders.
• Fulfill a governing architecture role and provide IT assurance (SOC2) with vendors.
• Navigate standards and working groups, especially HDN.
• Act as linking pin for cross-area collaboration on project Paris (SDC/LSA specifically).
• Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving architecture for the area.
• Provide oversight and foster built-in quality to ensure squads create high-quality and well-designed technical solutions.
• Leverage a strong engineering and security background to make the right choices in Solution Architecture.
• Work together with the Tech Leads and squads to stay in control.
• Be responsible for the Intermediary portal and support, and Income Statement as a Service.

Practical Examples

• Provide architecture advisory to the area leadership team.
• Incorporate the latest architecture concepts into projects and initiatives.
• Set and cascade solution direction across the different squads.
• Guide, refine, and work with a group of passionate component mentors.

• Manage and lead the architecture effort for the area.
• Create and socialize an end-to-end solution architecture.
• Mentor and coach squads and component mentors to implement the associated architecture.

You and your talent

• 5+ years in an engineering background (ideally development).
• Solution Architecture experience in a complex environment.
• Architecture training/knowledge on architectural practice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborates effectively with others to achieve results.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Experience with IT assurance / vendors is a pre.
