Internship Logistics / Supply Chain Management

Are you looking for an internship where you can gain hands-on experience in an international logistics environment while contributing to a project with organization-wide impact? Then this internship at Nedap Livestock might be the perfect fit for you.

Within our Operations team, we ensure that our products reach customers around the world efficiently. Just as important is what happens when products are returned. Think of repairs, warranty claims, service requests and commercial returns. During this internship, you will investigate how these different return flows can be organized more efficiently and help design a future-proof returns process that can eventually be adopted across multiple Nedap business units.

You will become an active member of the team while also having the freedom to conduct your own research and develop concrete improvement proposals.

What are you going to do?

Operations & Logistics

Support the day-to-day activities within the Operations and Logistics team while mapping the current Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.

Analysis

Analyze different return flows, including repairs, warranty, service, and commercial returns, and investigate the collaboration between Nedap Livestock and its international business partners.

Identify opportunities

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the current process and compare existing ways of working with best practices in international reverse logistics.

Advise

Develop a practical proposal for a more efficient and future-proof returns process that can serve as the foundation for a standardized, company-wide approach across Nedap.

Your team

You will join the Operations team at Nedap Livestock. Together, we ensure that our products are delivered and supported efficiently across the globe. You will work closely with colleagues from Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Support, while also collaborating with international business partners. From day one, you'll be given responsibility and the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, supported by experienced colleagues who are always willing to help.

Required skills

We're looking for a curious student who enjoys analyzing processes and is motivated by improving logistics operations. You also recognize yourself in the following.

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field.
• You have an interest in process optimization and international logistics.
• You have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving complex challenges.
• You communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• You are proactive, take ownership and enjoy working independently.
