At Coty’s Amsterdam Hub, the Trade Marketing Intern will join the Trade Marketing team supporting Prestige (Makeup, Fragrances and Skincare) and Consumer Beauty (Color Cosmetics, Mass Scenting and Bodycare) businesses across Benelux and more than 40 countries in EMEA through more than 30 independent distributors as well as some of EMEA’s biggest and fastest growing e-commerce customers.

The role

Coty is seeking a highly motivated person to join Coty’s Trade Marketing team for the Amsterdam Hub. This role will closely collaborate with the full commercial team, Marketing and Sales, Finance, as well as Distributors.

Key responsibilities

  • Advance total investment tracking capability by creating benchmarks and guidelines on how to allocate the commercial mix.
  • Support the team on the Monthly Commercial Meeting organization.
  • Map the current distribution landscape to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Gather best practices on 4P across the region and enable sales managers with clear action plans across 4P.
  • Support the team on pricing through actionable analysis.
  • Support the team in creating efficiencies by optimizing and simplifying processes.

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty and our brands, and a strong affinity with the dynamics of FMCG.
  • HBO/WO student (Bachelor/Master); for this internship it is important to remain enrolled with your university during the whole internship.
  • Proactive and hands-on.
  • Affinity towards Sales & Marketing.
  • Passion for analytical work.
  • Flexible and loves challenges.
  • Good communication skills and likes to work in a team.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Period

This is a full-time internship for a duration of 6 months, starting from 15th August. You will receive an internship allowance and an NS Business Card if you do not have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis, although this will largely need to be done in your own time.
