At JBT Marel, you'll drive operational execution and delivery coordination within our Data Engineering organization as a Data Operations Manager in the Data & Analytics domain. You'll keep structured delivery, sprint execution, and operational governance running smoothly across enterprise data initiatives on modern platforms including Databricks, SQL Server, TimeXtender, and Power BI.

You'll be the operational backbone of the Data Engineering organization, coordinating delivery, monitoring platform stability, and driving continuous improvement across globally distributed, remote teams that collaborate daily via Teams.

About the role

• Lead operational planning and delivery coordination within the Data Engineering organization
• Support the Data Engineering Manager on Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog coordination, and Jira governance
• Support operational execution and delivery across Databricks, SQL, and TimeXtender environments
• Monitor delivery progress, operational KPIs, and platform stability
• Align on priorities and dependencies with the Data Engineering Manager, technical teams, and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and engineering workflows
• Ensure alignment with enterprise delivery standards and governance processes
• Support resource planning and execution management across initiatives
• Coordinate operational data issue handling and execution follow-up across global teams, including with the Master Data Center of Excellence and Data Quality teams
• Identify and help implement opportunities for automation and AI-assisted capabilities in operational data processes

What you'll bring

We're looking for a highly organized delivery leader who thrives on structure, coordination, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving, global environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in Data Operations, Delivery Management, or Data Engineering environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Jira
• Experience working with Databricks, SQL, TimeXtender, Power BI, or similar enterprise data platforms
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment
• Understanding of automation and AI-assisted engineering practices is an advantage
• Experience supporting global operational or shared service environments is beneficial
