Are you excited to be part of our dynamic team where business meets technology? Driving Rituals' growth through innovative tools within our Tech & Data department.

Tech Lead – GenAI Delivery

At Rituals, we are at an exciting moment in our AI journey. As Tech Lead – GenAI Delivery, you will help turn the potential of generative AI into products people can use every day across our business. You will take ownership of the delivery of high-impact GenAI applications, including our customGPT ecosystem, internal knowledge assistants, and domain-specific use cases.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, where you translate ideas into production-grade software that is scalable, secure, and valuable in practice. You will work closely with Product Owners, business sponsors, AI Engineers, Data Science teams, Staff Engineers, and our wider AI Network across Legal, Security, and Principal Architecture. With a strong hands-on approach, you will help shape the way we design, build, and improve GenAI products across Rituals.

Your focus is on delivery: creating solutions that work well, are used widely, and continue to improve over time. In doing so, you will also help strengthen our engineering standards, mentoring culture, and responsible AI practices as we grow.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the technical design, build, and continuous improvement of GenAI products, including the customGPT ecosystem and internal knowledge assistants.
  • Define and evolve the reference architecture for scalable, secure, and cost-effective GenAI solutions, including RAG and semantic search systems.
  • Drive technical decisions on knowledge bases, ingestion strategies, chunking, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and context management.
  • Establish and scale strong LLMOps practices, including standards for quality, prompt engineering, documentation, monitoring, evaluation, and automated testing.
  • Mentor AI Engineers and guide external engineering partners to ensure alignment on architecture, delivery quality, and engineering standards.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, business sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities, communicate risks, and implement responsible AI guardrails.

Bring all of you

In this role, we are looking for a hands-on technical leader who combines deep GenAI expertise with a strong delivery mindset. You know how to build from the ground up and bring structure to a fast-moving field without losing sight of what creates value for users. You are comfortable moving between whiteboard sessions, architecture decisions, hands-on engineering, and mentoring others. You communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders and know how to influence across teams. Most of all, you bring curiosity, pragmatism, and care to the way you build products and work with others.

To be successful in this role, you:

  • Bring 8+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/ML, with proven experience architecting and building NLP or LLM-driven systems from the ground up.
  • Have strong hands-on experience with GenAI and LLMOps, including RAG pipelines, vector stores, prompt registries, evaluation loops, monitoring, deployment, and knowledge engineering for unstructured data.
  • Have expertise in Python, API design, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex, and at least one major cloud platform with managed AI services such as Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Bring hands-on experience with fine-tuning techniques such as PEFT and LoRA, and understand embeddings, semantic search, agentic workflows, and tool calling.
  • Demonstrate influential leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to balance legacy realities with future-focused technical solutions.
