Join AkzoNobel and help protect iconic landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge with sustainable and innovative paints and coatings. As a supply planner intern, you will work with stakeholders to set a plan for global sites that satisfies demand while considering complex constraints. You will join a diverse team of over 60 supply chain enthusiasts from 20+ countries, contributing to a global supply chain network that serves millions of customers. In this internship, you will work within an ambitious, open-minded, proactive and informal environment in Sassenheim, contributing to an important and significant pillar that runs most of AkzoNobel's supply chain activities.

What can you expect from us?

As a student, you can learn about supply planning for a paints/coatings production site. This involves developing efficient plans to meet customer demand and managing resources. You will also help ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging, manage relationships with suppliers, and plan product distribution. You will work in a diverse, collaborative team with an international mindset.

What do you need to have to be successful in this internship?

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters in business administration or Engineering with specialization in Supply chain management
  • Must be enrolled as a student for the full duration of the internship
  • Internship lasting 6 months
  • Fluent in English, any other language is considered a plus
