We are seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Sales Intern to join our Endoscopy Operating Unit. This role is ideal for students who are interested in building experience in the medical sales field and contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced commercial team. As an Intern, you will support sales engagement with Healthcare Professionals to help develop the business and provide support in endoscopy procedure settings to ensure optimal and safe use of Medtronic products. You will also gain hands-on exposure to customer interactions, product training, and the day-to-day activities of a field-based sales team in the medical technology industry.

Internship details:

  • Start date: September/ October 2026
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Work model: approximately 60% national travel and 40% home-based or office-based work

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Support the sales team with day-to-day operations, including preparing quotations, follow-ups, documentation, and weekly reports
  • Help track sales performance, pipeline updates, customer account activities, and contribute to sales presentations
  • Participate in customer meetings, product trainings, sales visits, and the planning of customer events, workshops, and educational activities related to endoscopy solutions
  • Assist in managing customer inquiries and coordinating with internal departments such as logistics, marketing, and finance
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify potential growth opportunities within the endoscopy market
  • Attend endoscopy procedures and support Healthcare Professionals to help ensure optimal product usage and customer experience in the procedure room

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical engineering, life sciences, business or a related field
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (minimum C1 level)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and openness to using Office 365 AI tools
  • Driving license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, relationship-building, and high emotional intelligence

Would be a plus:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proactive and enthusiastic mindset, with a willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Interest in procedure-based environments and medical technologies used in endoscopy
