We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to be the recruitment partner for our Services Department, a complex team with global reach, unpredictable demand cycles, and a delivery-focused talent profile that requires a recruiter who can stay ahead of the curve.

This role sits at the intersection of hands-on delivery and strategic partnership. You'll own the full recruitment cycle for the Services department, building real relationships with hiring managers, aligning priorities, and being the person in the room who brings insight, not just candidates. You'll also lead and develop two recruiters, helping them grow while keeping the team's standards high.

What you'll do

  • Act as the recruitment partner and dedicated TA partner for the Services Department, serving as a trusted advisor who understands the team's structure, priorities, and challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, align priorities, run weekly stakeholder check-ins, align on hiring plans before demand hits, and ensure TA commitments are delivered with clarity and pace.
  • Own the full recruitment cycle for the Services department, from intake and requirement-setting through to offer.
  • Lead structured intakes that create clarity on role requirements, manage candidate pipelines with discipline, maintain healthy conversion rates, and keep visibility on open, upcoming, and on-hold roles.
  • Escalate early when demand outpaces capacity.
  • Source proactively for assigned roles, selecting channels based on market conditions and profile needs.
  • Build and maintain passive pipelines for high-priority and recurring roles, use Backbase EVP messaging consistently in outreach, and refine it using candidate feedback.
  • Use market data to advise hiring managers on realistic expectations, talent availability, time-to-hire, and compensation benchmarks.
  • Track competitor hiring activity and surface relevant signals to HRBP partners.
  • Support better hiring decisions through market insight, not just role fulfillment.
  • Run structured screening aligned to the role brief and competency model.
  • Challenge inconsistent or unconvincing interviewer feedback and protect the quality bar.
  • Use AI tools to improve briefs, outreach, and research.
  • Keep ATS data clean, support reporting, and use pipeline data to manage role health and communicate progress clearly.
  • Lead and develop two recruiters through structured feedback, development support, and shared best practices.
  • Contribute to team initiatives beyond your own portfolio.

Who you are

  • Experienced in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within a B2B SaaS, fintech, or professional services environment.
  • A strong stakeholder partner who builds genuine advisory relationships with hiring managers.
  • Comfortable maintaining quality standards by challenging weak briefs, unconvincing scorecards, and advocating for candidate experience.
  • Experienced in using or implementing AI tools in recruiting workflows.
  • Data-literate, using pipeline metrics and market benchmarks to guide conversations with hiring managers.
  • Experienced in mentoring or guiding experienced colleagues and ready to step into a lead role.
  • Structured and organized under pressure, able to manage a complex portfolio across multiple markets.
  • Already based in Amsterdam.
