The Tender Team cooperates with all company departments, including the Managing Director, Sales Director, Country Sales, R&D, After-Sales, Legal, Finance, Project Management, and Sourcing Teams, to achieve common goals. In addition, coordination and communication extend beyond the company to clients and various suppliers.

About the role:

The Tender Specialist analyzes and coordinates tender documentation between departments to create the best possible offer. This role requires the ability to switch focus quickly, balance several tasks with tight deadlines, and communicate in a diplomatic and energetic manner.

Tender evaluation phase:

  • Translate, analyze, and summarize initial government or bus operator tender inquiries.
  • Lead, monitor, and facilitate communication between sales managers, R&D engineers, after-sales engineers, and legal and finance team colleagues during the tender evaluation phase.
  • Collect and analyze evaluation forms.
  • Share expertise and constructive feedback during the tender SWOT evaluation process.

Tender preparation phase:

  • Handle multiple tasks with various deadlines from several tenders simultaneously by coordinating tender documentation with all parties involved.
  • Propose and promote innovative solutions to strike a balance between the client's request and the company's offer.
  • Together with the R&D team, translate technical information into concrete, readable offers for clients.
  • Together with the sales team, formulate the quotation strategy.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize tender documentation from all parties involved and submit it to the client.
  • Communicate with the client regarding any questions or further price negotiations.
  • Prepare monthly reports.

General:

  • Follow the determined processes, safety, and environmental instructions.
  • Report improvement opportunities in the organization, processes, and incidents via an improvement note.

Profile:

  • Proven experience in tendering, compliance, or related roles.
  • Attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize and work independently.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicles or a technical background is a plus.
  • Confident, professional, and flexible.
  • Team player.
  • Energetic and resilient under stress.
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Chinese or one of the Nordic languages is a plus.
  • Willing to travel occasionally within Europe.
