Intern R&D Packaging (all genders)

Looking for an inspiring internship in packaging innovation? At FrieslandCampina’s R&D Center in Wageningen, you’ll work on impactful projects for global brands, exploring sustainable packaging solutions and future packaging concepts. We tailor the internship to your interests, creating a meaningful learning experience in an international R&D team.

What you will do

During your internship, you will work on a dedicated project while also supporting ongoing activities within the team. Your assignment will be defined together with your supervisor, ensuring it fits both your academic requirements and your personal development goals. You’ll dive into real packaging challenges, work with different stakeholders, and experience what it means to innovate for global markets. The minimum duration for an internship is 4 months.

What We Ask

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with an interest in packaging development, for example Industrial Design, Food Technology, Engineering, or Material Science.
• You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
• You enjoy working in an international, English-speaking environment.
• You feel comfortable taking ownership and contributing your ideas.

About the Team

You’ll be part of FrieslandCampina’s R&D Packaging team, based at the Innovation Center in Wageningen. Our team supports all business groups and works across a wide range of packaging formats, including bottles, cups, cartons, cans, industrial, and flexible packaging, covering both B2B and B2C markets.
