👤Job Description

You will be a vital part of the People & Culture team of felyx.

You will focus on recruitment and overall employee experience for your colleagues in the Netherlands & Belgium and oversee the external parties that process the HR administration and payroll. You will take full responsibility for the HR administration processes, source and hire the right people for our HQ and Ops roles, and set up projects focusing on company culture and employee experience. This is an ideal role for someone who likes to take initiative and is interested in a broad range of different HR topics. When we have many open vacancies, you will spend more time on recruitment and when we have fewer open vacancies, you will spend more time on employee experience and general administration. Therefore, we are looking for someone who likes to have variation in their work and is flexible.

Amongst others, a few examples of your responsibilities in this role, you:

  • Report to the Chief People & Culture Officer of the Barcelona delegation.
  • Will be responsible for felyx's HRIS systems.
  • Support felyx colleagues and managers with HR related questions.
  • Support your colleagues with HR administration, including 30% rulings, VISA applications, and UWV requests.
  • Take ownership of the recruitment process for a selection of roles.
  • Contribute to the development of our HR processes and policies.
  • Set up and lead projects around employee experience, employer branding and company value.

Qualifications

We get truly excited if you...

  • Have 3 - 4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Have HRIS experience (Cobra being a major plus).
  • Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both Dutch & English (mandatory requirement).
  • Are proactive, energetic and get motivated by taking initiative.
  • Have a very positive mindset and can execute on plans and ideas.
  • Are structured in your way of working and have attention to detail.
  • Are analytical, strong on problem solving and can make timely and balanced decisions.
  • Are experienced in working in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Are excited to expand knowledge within the HR field.

🎉Bonus points if you...

  • Have experience with the full employee lifecycle (Sourcing, Recruiting, On / Off-Boarding).
  • Have extensive knowledge of Dutch labor law (CAO, Zero & Fixed Hour Contracts, WAB) and Belgian labor law.
