Junior Application/Technical Specialist (m/f/d) - Dutch speaking

In our Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC), we support customers from diagnostic laboratories and hospitals in several European countries with technical, application, and IT-related questions regarding Roche in-vitro diagnostic systems. In this role, your focus is at the interface of molecular diagnostics, laboratory processes, and IT systems. You will provide support particularly on topics such as LIS connection, connectivity, middleware, and digital laboratory workflows.

For our international RCSC, we are looking for a Junior Application/Technical Specialist (m/f/d) - Dutch speaking based in Mannheim (DE), Almere (NL) or Vilvoorde (BE).

The Position

In our Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC), we support customers from diagnostic laboratories and hospitals in several European countries with technical, application, and IT-related questions regarding Roche in-vitro diagnostic systems. In this role, your focus is at the interface of molecular diagnostics, laboratory processes, and IT systems. You will provide support particularly on topics such as LIS connection, connectivity, middleware, and digital laboratory workflows.

Your key responsibilities

• Handling application-related, technical, and system-related customer inquiries
• Supporting the analysis of issues involving diagnostic systems, laboratory IT and customer workflows
• Contributing to solutions for connectivity and interface topics, for example in the areas of LIS, middleware and remote connectivity
• Carefully documenting cases and solutions in the CRM system
• Delivering customer and employee trainings
• Preparing and sharing product- and system-related information
• Occasionally supporting field service colleagues during on-site visits to customer laboratories

Who you are

• You speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English. German, Turkish or Greek would be an advantage but not a must.
• You hold a university degree, ideally in molecular biology, biochemistry, medical informatics, medical technology, or medical engineering, or a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you have a scientific or medical-technical background and are looking to grow in an application-focused and IT-related environment.
• You bring initial knowledge or a strong interest in molecular biology.
• You enjoy technical topics and have a strong affinity for IT.
• Ideally, you have had first exposure to LIS, laboratory IT, middleware, connectivity or system integration.
• You enjoy working with complex systems and approach challenges in a structured and solution-oriented way.
• You are customer-focused, communicative and a strong team player.
• You live close to Mannheim, Almere, or Vilvoorde and are willing to travel regularly to Mannheim.
