Quality Engineer (Test automation and Manual testing)

The role

As a Quality Engineer, you will assure the quality of our innovative cloud solutions. Based on user stories, you will interpret product specifications and develop comprehensive test designs and plans to perform functional and load testing. You will also be involved in the design and maintenance of the automation framework for application, functional, and regression testing. You will collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality goals and objectives to our customers.

Role overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our solutions in all aspects of product development and delivery.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining test and automation strategies.
• Contributing to the test automation framework.
• Preparing technical feasibility and estimates for proposed automation solutions.
• Collaborating with other team members and providing guidance and coaching on automated testing.

What you bring

• A degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or business studies.
• Extensive experience in testing web applications and APIs.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub is required.
• A hands-on mindset and a proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; the primary language is English.
• A passion for quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience with load and stress testing is a plus.

• Collaborate with SCRUM teams and product owners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for efficient collaboration and GitHub for code management.
• Demonstrate responsibility and ownership in all tasks.
• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide coaching and training to more junior team members.
