Position & Requirements

As a Senior Asset Reporting Analyst, you are responsible for the end-to-end execution and integrity of reporting on Robeco’s Assets under Management (AuM) and Assets under Advice (AuA). You play a key role in reporting and explaining over EUR 337 billion in global client assets, supporting decision-making from the Executive Committee to teams across Sales, Investments, Finance and Operations.

You act as a subject-matter expert, ensuring that monthly reporting is accurate, reconciled, and fully explainable. You understand not only the numbers but also their underlying drivers and data flows. You are hands-on in the reporting cycle and closely involved in maintaining and improving day-to-day asset and sales revenue reporting processes.

Alongside your operational responsibilities, you actively participate in reporting improvement initiatives and contribute your expertise to the gradual evolution of reports, dashboards and data usage. This role is positioned as an expert role within Corporate Planning, working closely with experienced peers and contributing deep asset-reporting knowledge to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the monthly AuM, AuA and sales revenue reporting cycle end-to-end, including validation, reconciliation and delivery
  • Deliver accurate reporting on assets, flows, revenue run rates, and market/FX impacts
  • Perform robust reconciliations across multiple data sources (e.g. fund accounting, sales, finance data) and ensure data integrity
  • Analyze and explain drivers of asset movements to stakeholders
  • Maintain high-quality data in reporting systems and ensure consistent definitions and controls
  • Act as a trusted contact for Finance, Sales and other stakeholders, including external auditors and regulators, responding to asset-related questions and ad-hoc requests
  • Contribute to reporting improvements, process optimization, tooling enhancements and dashboard development

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Financial Services, or a comparable data- and reporting-driven environment
  • Proven experience in owning end-to-end reporting processes, including consolidation, validation and delivery of outputs across multiple data sources and/or business dimensions
  • Experience working with complex data landscapes, combining inputs from different domains such as Finance, Sales and Operations, including performing reconciliations across systems
  • Experience with AUM, fund or sales reporting is preferred, including understanding of asset drivers such as flows, market performance and FX and/or revenue-related metrics
  • Hands-on experience with data and reporting tools such as advanced Excel, SQL queries, and BI/planning tools including Power BI, VENA or Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Strong attention to detail with a data quality and control mindset
  • Able to operate effectively in a recurring reporting cycle with tight deadlines
  • Strong communicator, able to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Proactive, structured team player with a pragmatic and improvement-oriented mindset
