Finance & Business Analytics Intern

As a Finance & Business Analytics Intern, you’ll work at the crossroads of financial planning and data engineering, supporting real business decisions with solid analysis while gaining hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and AI. You’ll collaborate closely with both the FP&A and QBA teams in Eindhoven, bridging the worlds of Finance and Data early in your career.

Role Overview

You will collaborate with the FP&A and QBA (Quantitative Business Analysis) teams in a hybrid internship based at the Eindhoven HQ.

The Role

As our Finance & Business Analytics Intern, you support two high-impact teams: FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and QBA (Quantitative Business Analysis). You’ll contribute to forecasting, reporting, dashboarding, and automation work that commercial, operations, and technical stakeholders rely on every day. This isn’t a coffee-and-copies internship — you’ll work on real problems, own your output, and leave with hands-on experience in both finance and data.

What you’ll do

• Support the FP&A team with forecasting, budgeting, and monthly management reporting
• Work with the QBA team on data analysis, automation, and process improvement using SQL and Python
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to help stakeholders monitor financial performance
• Help automate financial controls and reporting processes, reducing manual effort
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and financial decision-making
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and technical teams to provide data-driven financial insights

What you bring to the table

Personally

• You are curious, analytical, and proactive — you enjoy turning messy data into clear answers
• You take ownership of your work and aren’t afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions
• You communicate clearly in English and are comfortable working across teams

Professionally

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Business Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field
• Affinity with data, and preferably some hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Available for a minimum of 5 months, at least 32 hours per week, based in the Netherlands
