The Industrialization Leader – MRI Business is responsible for defining and driving the industrialization strategy for new products, product upgrades, and design changes across the MRI portfolio.

The role leads the industrialization organization and governs the successful transition of products and technologies from development into stable manufacturing and supply chain operations.

The role establishes industrialization standards, processes, and roadmaps that ensure manufacturing readiness, supply chain readiness, and operational excellence throughout the Product Development Lifecycle Management (PDLM) process.

It provides strategic leadership for industrialization activities across multiple high-complexity programs, manufacturing sites, and supplier networks.

The Industrialization Leader partners closely with R&D, PMO, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Service, and external suppliers to align product, process, and sourcing strategies with business objectives.

The role is accountable for industrialization governance, portfolio prioritization, capability development, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, environmental, and quality requirements.

Industrialization Strategy & Governance

  • Defines and deploys the industrialization strategy for New Product Introductions (NPI), product upgrades, and Design Change Packages aligned with business and operational objectives.
  • Establishes and governs industrialization processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Owns the industrialization governance framework, ensuring robust stage-gate reviews, risk management, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Contributes to product and technology roadmaps by ensuring alignment between innovation strategies and manufacturing capabilities.

Portfolio Leadership

  • Leads and prioritizes the industrialization portfolio across multiple high-complexity programs, balancing business priorities, resources, risks, and capacity constraints.
  • Oversees execution readiness and industrialization performance across manufacturing sites and supplier locations.
  • Establishes portfolio-level metrics, reporting, and performance management to ensure successful product launches and design change implementations.

People Leadership

  • Leads, develops, and coaches a team of industrialization professionals across multiple disciplines and locations.
  • Establishes organizational capabilities, workforce plans, and succession strategies to support current and future business needs.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Sciences, or related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 15 years with a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years with a Master’s degree in Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, NPI, or related fields, including 8+ years of leadership experience.

Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, APICS/ASCM.
