Welcome to the Engineering Graduate Program at Mollie in Amsterdam.

At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

Our Engineering Graduate Program is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to succeed in a dynamic fintech environment. Whether you're interested in back-end, infrastructure or security engineering we have a range of opportunities that will allow you to put your skills to the test and make a real impact.

The program begins in September 2026 and includes two rotations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading fintechs, collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry, and deepen your understanding of Mollie’s business and how to thrive in a fast-paces work environment - all designed to give you the best possible start to your career!

In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in tech and soft skill training while being paired with a mentor and a buddy to support you through your learning journey.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaborate, learn from and share knowledge with your colleagues to enhance your skills and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
  • Review alerts generated by the SIEM/SOAR platform, document findings, and escalate genuine security incidents to incident response.
  • Ingest new logs into the SIEM, parse the logs so they can be interpreted by the SIEM, develop and build use cases in the SIEM, and create SOAR automations to triage alerts created by those use cases.
  • Assist senior team members during security incidents by collecting evidence, documenting timelines, and updating incident tickets.
  • Write scripts to automate repetitive security tasks such as log parsing, data collection, and integration between security tools.
  • Triage and validate submissions from our bug bounty program, communicate with researchers, and coordinate with engineering teams to prioritise fixes for confirmed vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct authorised penetration tests on designated applications and infrastructure under supervision and document findings.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field with a 2025 or 2026 graduation date.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as PHP, Java or Python.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, software design principles, networking principles, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
