Will you develop and improve Naïf products that help our customers to take good care of themselves, their kids and the planet?

About Naïf

Naïf’s mission is to change the world of personal care and to protect and care for the environment that our children, and their children, will live in. That’s why Naïf makes personal care products that are mild for sensitive skin and less harmful for the planet. Naïf was the first brand to introduce plastic-free wet wipes in the Netherlands and actively campaigns against the use of microplastics in personal care products.

Naïf offers everything needed for babies, from diaper cream to plastic-free wipes, shampoo and sunscreen. The sensitive baby skin doesn’t need a lot, and definitely no bad stuff. That’s why Naïf products are made with natural ingredients, and without mineral oils, microplastics or SLES. High-quality ingredients are chosen because babies deserve the best.

Your role

As a Project Manager Marketing & Product at Naïf, you play a significant role in transforming the world of personal care. Naïf strongly believes it is easy to convince consumers to choose more sustainable baby care products by making products that are simply better and more qualitative than other brands.

Naïf is proud of each and every product it makes and pays close attention to ingredients, look and feel, and environmental footprint. The company continues to improve and grow, and this role is an important part of that journey.

If you are a hands-on, pragmatic project manager with a passion for sustainability and consumer-centric innovation, this is your place to shine. Imagine making the next Naïf products and spotting them on the shelves.

What will you do?

  • Drive innovation by owning the full development cycle for 30+ product innovations per year and improving the current portfolio, from sun care to baby cream, from concept to launch.
  • Bring a consumer-centric approach and mindset, putting parents at the core of innovation processes and gathering their feedback early and often.
  • Create and manage the yearly product development roadmap, including timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective product launches.
  • Manage the artwork process and timings.
  • Work in the Product Development team together with the Product Development Manager and a chemist, reporting to the Head of Marketing, and partner with the Brand Manager / Head of Marketing to analyze market research, spot global trends, and identify new product opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functionally by uniting internal teams such as Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, and managing relationships with external suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Host the annual Product Development Hackathon to brainstorm the next generation of Naïf products.
  • Champion sustainability as a B Corp by constantly finding ways to reduce the company’s footprint, from ingredient traceability and fair supply chains to minimal packaging.

What will you bring?

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in product development, preferably in a fast-paced environment within the personal care or cosmetics industry.
  • A proven track record of successfully developing and launching tangible personal care products.
  • A strong eye for detail, including conceptual detail regarding artworks.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
  • Conceptual thinking, creativity, and a strong sense for trends, with the ability to translate an idea into words or visuals and deliver a final product in which the concept remains secured as much as possible within a collaborative context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners such as suppliers.
  • An innovative and hands-on mindset with a passion for personal care products and consumer trends to bring them to market.

Working at Naïf

Working at Naïf is not just a job; you truly can contribute to change in the world of personal care. The role comes with:

  • A unique opportunity to use your project management skills and experience for good and make a positive impact.
  • Working in a scale-up culture full of energy, impact, freedom, and a motivated team.
  • 25 vacation days per year on a full-time basis, or some more if needed.
  • A discount on a gym membership at Urban Sports Club.
  • An annual impact and volunteer day and inspiration sessions from sustainability pioneers.
  • A very interesting internal training program.
  • Team celebrations and fun activities together, including trips and holiday celebrations.
  • And of course, lots of Naïf products.

Naïf is more than just a company to work for: it is a sustainable skincare brand with products coming straight from our hearts. We strive to improve ourselves every day. Innovative ideas and your input are greatly valued. Creativity is highly appreciated and stimulated. We are a fast-growing start-up with a beachfront office in The Hague and operating on an international level. This results in new and exciting challenges every day.
