bloomon is disrupting the traditional flower supply chain by skipping the auction and wholesale model and using technology, brand and innovation to deliver gifts and subscriptions across Europe.

🛠️ Range @ bloomon

Over the past 10 years, bloomon has spread happiness to customers with products and designs that are distinctly bloomon. The company is most known for its Original bouquets, characterised by a wide variety of flowers, complementary colour schemes and spaciousness. It has steadily expanded its product range with various bouquet styles to attract and serve a broader audience and other categories, such as dried flowers, plants and other seasonal products like wreaths, mini trees and easter branches. A small selection of products is offered on subscription and all are available as one-offs in the gift shop.

We expect to optimise our product range further in the coming years and we constantly make improvements to our products and bouquet designs to keep surprising subscribers, gifters and receivers. We love to make art and commerciality come together - we inspire our customers but also test, learn and optimise what we do.

🛠️ Range Team @ Bloom & Wild Group

You will be part of the Brand & Range team, a team of 8 colleagues with different responsibilities. These teams were brought together because brand and products are so closely linked. The Brand team is responsible for driving and executing the campaign calendar in alignment with the Commercial and Marketing teams. The Range team is responsible for the ideation and execution of the range calendar with physical products across markets - from initial concept, through product development to launch.

The team works closely with the Brand team to communicate product ranges through a campaign lens, and also cross-functionally with many other teams across the business to support decision-making. It performs its own research, uses dashboards, gathers insights with the help of the Business Intelligence and Research teams, collaborates with the Supply Chain teams on execution of the product range, and ensures the commercial teams are happy with the product ranges developed. There is also a close link with the Product team to ensure the range is easily shoppable on site and looks as appealing as possible; the Merchandiser is responsible for this.

⚙️ The role

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you’ll support the team in getting product ranges live by executing tasks on behalf of your manager and the Online Merchandiser, with a particular focus on scaling add-ons (small gifts that can be added to an order) and productised (gift sets) ranges. By doing this you will have the opportunity to learn how a scale up operates, how physical product development works and how products are made commercially appealing on-site.

Your main responsibilities will include:

⚙️ Range

  • Monitoring range performance KPIs and flagging underperforming products / categories to the Category Manager and Merchandiser
  • Weekly sharing of range updates: what’s coming, what’s going, etc.
  • Supporting collection reviews by analysing data and presenting back to the range team
  • Supporting new product developments and making sure all relevant stakeholders are informed and aligned
  • Keeping the forecasting sheet up to date and checking that SKUs are set up accordingly in the system

⚙️ Merchandising

  • Keeping the range plan up to date, including imagery of products and collection overviews, and aligned across documents and systems
  • Sweeping the websites for errors and out-of-stock issues, resolving issues where possible and raising them with the appropriate stakeholders otherwise
  • Supporting new SKU set-up, including correct photography, and launching them onsite
  • Supporting the scaling of add-ons and productised ranges

✅ You’ll love this role if you…

  • Are currently following or rounding up your bachelors / masters degree in a Business Administration / Business Management / Digital Marketing direction
  • Proactive You take ownership to get things done and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in yourself whenever needed
  • Driven You are enthusiastic, passionate and keen to deliver results that impact the business
  • Attention to detail You’re methodical and precise and really take care so that you deliver to a consistently excellent standard
  • Organised You’ll be on top of the many different workstreams that you’re involved in, delivering your work on time
  • Communication skills You’ll have good communication skills and like to work with multiple teams / stakeholders
  • Positive attitude You’re excited about problem solving with others in a fun and dynamic team in a fast paced environment
  • AI-forward & Curious You are familiar with or eager to explore AI tools, and love finding ways to work smarter and faster. We have great ambitions for AI efficiency at bloomon, and we want you to bring that tech-savvy mindset to your daily workflows.

These are some of the skills and experience we think will enable success in this role, but please don’t worry if you are missing some of these.

🧭 Our ways of working

We’re big on collaboration, empathy, knowledge sharing and growth, and our values drive our priorities every day:

Lead change for good: we have the guts to try new things and step up to do what matters most

Think deeply, act swiftly: we make sure there’s thoughtful rationale behind our approach and always act swiftly to implement ideas

Care wildly: we pour care and creativity into everything we do and pay attention to the things that make a difference

Stay open, be curious: we’re open about what we’re doing and why, and we welcome challenges from each other

We really believe in the power of face-to-face connections and trust our teams to make the right decisions about where and how they work each day. Working patterns are flexible and vary across the business, depending on the type of work, need for collaboration, and personal and wellbeing circumstances.

We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver them to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform.
