Do you want to build AI-powered software that helps healthcare professionals spend less time on repetitive administrative work and more time on people? Do you enjoy turning a promising product into something reliable, scalable and genuinely useful in daily care operations? Then let’s grab a coffee or tea.
As a Full-Stack Developer in the Virtuele Assistent team, you’ll work on a product that supports care organisations in communicative and administrative workflows. The Virtuele Assistent helps process responses from clients and employees, recognises tasks such as questions or cancellation requests, and suggests or performs follow-up actions in a transparent and controlled way.
You’ll work on software that combines practical AI, workflow automation, messaging, user interaction and integrations within the Ons® Suite. The product is still developing quickly, so your work will directly influence how care organisations use AI safely and effectively in their daily processes.
Your focus is on delivering useful product improvements fast, while keeping quality, privacy, reliability and user trust at the centre. You are pragmatic, curious and comfortable working end-to-end: from understanding the planner’s workflow to shipping robust backend logic and clear frontend interactions.
Product development
You develop new functionality for the Virtuele Assistent, from workflow configuration and task suggestions to messaging flows and user-facing controls.
Full-stack engineering
You work across the full stack, switching between backend, frontend and integrations where needed to deliver complete product improvements.
AI-enabled workflows
You help translate AI classification and automation into safe, understandable and useful workflows for healthcare professionals.
Reliability and privacy
You build with attention to robustness, observability, privacy and auditability, because the product operates in a healthcare context where trust matters.
Multidisciplinary collaboration
You work closely with developers, UX designers, product specialists, domain experts and users to understand real planning problems and turn them into practical solutions.
Fast, pragmatic delivery
You make thoughtful technical choices without getting stuck in unnecessary complexity. You care about maintainability, but you also know when speed and learning are the right trade-off.
As a Full-Stack Developer you’ll be part of a Healthcare team working on the Virtuele Assistent within Nedap Ons®. The team combines product development, healthcare domain knowledge and modern software engineering to help care organisations reduce workload in planning and communication.
The product is especially relevant for organisations where planning changes, client communication and administrative follow-up create a lot of pressure. By automating repetitive parts of those workflows, the Virtuele Assistent helps create more calm, overview and time for attention.
You’ll join a team where initiative, ownership and curiosity are important. We are still learning what this type of AI-assisted product can become, so there is plenty of room to shape both the technology and the product direction.
As a Full-Stack Developer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives.
In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.
At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.
You are a Full-Stack Developer who enjoys building software that truly makes a difference. Understanding the people behind the product matters to you, and you are motivated by the impact your work can have on the daily lives of healthcare professionals. You are naturally curious about users’ challenges and enjoy translating their needs into practical, valuable solutions.
You thrive in an environment where not everything is defined yet. You see opportunities in new developments, learn quickly, and enjoy shaping a product together with colleagues and users. You take ownership of your work, think pragmatically, and make thoughtful decisions that contribute to reliable and user-friendly solutions.
You are comfortable working independently, while actively collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines. You are open to new technologies and interested in exploring how AI can be applied in a safe, understandable, and meaningful way within healthcare.
